Welcome to Networking Mummies (Bournemouth) run by Branch Leader Nicky Bennett. 

Hi, I’m a professional Administrator with 25 years’ experience in a variety of different industries. I have worked in Insurance, Estate Agency, Lettings, Recruitment, MLM, Emergency Services and even the baby food industry! Since 2003, I’ve been in the emergency services and, in 2009, I became a Control Room Supervisor, managing a team of around 20 staff.

As much I enjoy the non-stop of the control room (and even the shift work) I am also a wife and a mum, to a wonderful husband and two gorgeous kids. They are my ‘why’, and so, while on maternity leave, I decided it was time to address my work/life balance and spend more time at home with my family. From there, The Administrator was born. A freelance Virtual Assistant business, working from my home in Bournemouth.

I offer remote admin support to businesses that don’t wish to, or perhaps are not quite ready to, employ admin staff on a permanent basis. I love to be busy and thrive on the sense of achievement of a job well done… whether that’s from completing a complicated, involved task or a mundane, repetitive one.

One of my favourite things is to organise events and I whole-heartedly believe that true face-to-face networking is the best way for small businesses to thrive. I’m love a bit of enthusiasm and positivity and I’m always keen to meet like-minded business mums and dads.
