I had the pleasure of meeting my local MP, Chris White, who covers Leamington Spa and Warwick yesterday.

My main purposes was to promote Networking Mummies as a whole and to discuss the financial hurdles and other hurdles as a small business we have to jump and about ongoing support in the area for small businesses on a whole in Warwickshire.

I showed him a copy of the Business Mums Journal, which he was thrilled with and he kept it to pass around. I was hoping he would be able to come and meet all the lovely Networking Mummies Warwickshire people at the Exhibition on the 4th October, but unfortunately he has other commitments. However, he has agreed to help and support us in any way possible and be involved in some future events, which is great news!

He has also invited me to London for a photo opportunity, so fingers crossed on that one!

It shows that Networking Mummies has great business mums involved and our credibility is soaring!

We had a great day at Lepe Country Park, the sun was shining the yachts at Cowes were a fantastic back drop to our great networking picnic!

The children happily played in the play area while mums and dads chatted about work and business in the sun.

Definitely to be repeated next year!! Thanks to everyone who came. Three new members and more new business connections made and all in the sunshine!!!
