Women and Marketing

Women have the ultimate consumer power. 80% of consumer healthcare purchases and 80% vehicle purchases.

  • Are you targeting women / attracting women clients?

  • Think about use of colours, images, language and tone.

  • Can you focus on women - networking, style, groups and associations, relationship building, media and magazines, where are they going every day?

  • Successful targeting: Sheila's Wheels, Breast Cancer Care, M&S.

Over the past three weeks I have been taking photographs of children from 2 months – 5 years for the Ollie’s Closet Model Competition and what a fun time we all had!

In all, 150 children were photographed and the sessions proved to be extremely popular.  I received lots of comments about ‘not working with children or animals’ as most of us know children under 5 are very clear about what they do or don’t want to do and asking them to sit still and smile at the camera for a few minutes can be very challenging, but to be fair most of the children I photographed were quite happy and you can visit my blog at www.andreapittam.com to see a selection of photos taken from each session.

The photographs are now available for collecting in-store at Ollie’s Closet and parents will be able to select their favourite image from their photo session to include in the competition.  The competition entries will be added to the dedicated Ollie’s Closet  gallery on my website at www.andreapittam.com .

You will be able to vote for your favourite image over the next couple of weeks when the entries have all been received.  Good luck to all the children who are entered into the competition and I look forward to seeing you again at our dedicated Ollie’s Closet location shoot!
